HOW TO XCLAMP YOUR 360 (FOR BEGINNERS)

I'm going to cut strait to the chase.
go to lowes or where ever and buy the following:

you need eight M5 .80x10 bolts ( lowes part number 138433 )
you need sixteen 5MM flat metal washers ( lowes part number 138319 )
you need sixteen #10 flat nylon washers ( lowes part number 139065 )

After opening the 360 and removing the dvdrom
unplug the fan and remove the front board ( where the RROD lights up )
remove the rest of the screws releaseing the motherboard from the case completely.
with a flathead screwdriver carfully remove both "X: clamps from the bottom of the motherboard
then turn it right side up and remove the heatsinks,
((OPTIONAL)) clean the chips with alcohol or thermal paste remover as much as possible.
apply a thin layer of thermal paste to the top of the chips.
use the m5 8. x 10 bolts, metal washers, & nylon washers to bolt down the tall heatsink to the motherboard.
**** Bolt the heatsink under the dvdrom very loose for now****
the pattern for every bolt / washer setup is....
BOLT / METAL WASHER / NYLON WASHER / MOTHERBOARD / NYLON WASHER / METAL WASHER/ HEATSINK
lay it back in the bottom part of the case and pop on the front RROD board
plug in the power and video cables
turn it on for about 3 minutes
within the first minute ( sometimes almost instant ) the RROD will turn into 2 flashing lights on the left.
this is letting the gpu overheat and reset itself.
turn it off, unplug all cables and take out the motherboard.
tighten down the bolts ( never too tight, but very snug ).
put it back into your case and screw it all back together
once it's back up turn it on and 99% success!
if it dont work, loosen the bolts under the dvdrom heatsink again and cook it for a few more minutes so it fully resets.

this is much easier to do than it is to explain how to do it.
it looks liek a lot but it's not hard, a noob could do this in under 1 hour....
just imagine what you can do?
I on average do this in about 15 minutes, from opening the 360 to putting it back together and booting it up. I have NEVER had a RROD that this did not fix!
